11.Unwilling to Leave

0710 Thu.

Woke up earlier. We didn’t have any tour. This was my last day in Leh. I wanna take a good look of Leh and purchase the gift, the Kashmir shawl for my mom. The purple shawl is for my mom, the green blue one is for myself~

Miru’s office is at Main Barza, then we went there and said hi to Miru. It’s not a simple hi. I told Miru, I wanted to stay longer in Leh, this town is too lovely to me! I wanted to cancel my bus ticket to Manali. My travel pals would continue their journey… “Ah~ you are kidding, right?” I was speechless and looked at him. “Are you sure? “ “ But I can’t afford the 2nd floor room.” “Well, I have a room…” I even asked Miru if he wanna hire me as a part time employee. I can work for his agent every July and August. “How about September?“ “I only can stay here in July and August.” He said he’s thinking to hire someone who can speak English and… Some customer came in and interrupted our conversation. Then I kept waiting in his office…

He asked me again, “Are you sure to stay in Leh tonight?”… Another customer came in the office. I had no chance to talk to Miru, he just offers me everyday accommodation and meal and I don’t need any salary. And I passed the national English tour leader and tour guide examination in Taiwan. I know how to work the travel business…

Looked at my travel pals stood outside and seemed confused about me. They might think what’s going on with me and why I said that to Miru suddenly. I was conscious that I can’t be so selfish! My travel pals won’t let me alone. If I stay, they will stay, too. But they want to go home actually… So I ran away, I didn’t answer Miru’s last question… Once a while, I hoped Miru mad my decision and canceled my ticket…

( Everything in Leh is truely beautiful just like postcards' presenting... )
